Linwood Frank Brown

Rocky Mount - Linwood Frank Brown, age 92, passed away on Monday, October 08, 2018. Born in Edgecombe County, NC on September 14, 1926, he was the son of the late Henry Frank Brown and Bessie Jobe Brown. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Inez Williams Brown. Linwood leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Virginia Ruth Joyner Brown, son, Ray Brown and wife, Sharon. He is also survived by grandchildren, Tonya Garland and Daniel Brown, great grandchildren, Alexander and Jonathan Garland; and sisters, Irene Johnson and Mary Boehm and husband Jim. He is also survived by many other loving family members and friends. Linwood was a retired truck driver for ABF Freight. He was also a member of Teamster Local 391. The family would like to give special thanks to all family and friends for your love, thoughts and prayers. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service.
