Rocky Mount - Mary Frances Sims, age 65, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019. Born in Gaston County, NC on July 2, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Floyd T. Sims and Lee Mayberry Sims.
Mary leaves behind to cherish her memory, son, Philip Heavner and wife, Amy. She is also survived by two brothers, Douglas Sims, Thomas Sims and two nephews, Rick Hale and Jerry Hale.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home with funeral service following at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the funeral home. There will be a private burial.
