Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
I am so sorry for our loss. Anyone that ever knew that sweet, humble lady is experiencing a loss at this time. Sylvia and family, I am sad but rejoicing at the same time. I truly believe she was ready to meet her Savior. She often told me she could not do any thing for anyone. In my book she had one of the best ministries and witnesses of anyone I know. She send all kinds of cards and made phone calls to a lot of people for all occasions. I loved her even tho I didn’t she her much after she left Covenant Homes where I met her and at Arlington Baptist Church. All of you are in my prayers.
I got to know Mildred through the WMU at Arlington Baptist Church. She was always so dependable to attend all of the meetings and was a very kind soul. I missed seeing her once she went to live at Breckenridge but I did not forget her. I have many fond memories of Mildred. I know she is in heaven today and that is something to be thankful for.
I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Mildred when she befriended my mother at Brekenridge. My mother was a new resident there and wanted to go home. Every day, Ms. Mildred would come to my moms room and sit and talk to her to encourage her. I appreciate the kindness she bestowed towards my mother. They walked in the hall together until the day before my mom passed away. Rest easy, Ms. Mildred!
Sylvia, I just saw Mildred’s obituary and I am so sorry. You two were a closely bonded pair and I know you are already missing her. I have truly missed Mildred and you since she and I left Covenant. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sylvia, I don’t think I ever met you, but I did know Mildred. She & my Mom (Theo Denson) were good friends at Brekenridge. I would talk to her whenever I happened to see her. She was a very nice lady and Mom enjoyed sitting with her at the lunch table. I didn’t realize she had passed until I was talking to Lulu on Monday. My Mom passed away Jan. 31st this year, so she & Mildred are probably talking things over in heaven, with Mom showing her around. Please accept my sincere sympathy.
