Patricia H. Moore

ROCKY MOUNT - Patricia H. Moore, age 87, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2021. Born in Edgecombe County, NC on November 11, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Barbara Peters House. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Walter House and Bill House. Patricia loved her family and was the glue that held them together with her open, honest, fun loving and naturally sweet personality. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. She will be remembered as a great mother, wonderful grandmother, loving sister and friend to all. Patricia is survived by her husband, and love of her life of 65 years, James Robert Moore; her daughters, Donna Kay Ramsey and husband, Chuck, of Nashville, and Terry Crocker and husband, Ricky, of Sharpsburg; her sons, James Robert Moore, Jr. of Rocky Mount, and John David Moore and wife, Michele, of Newnan, GA; her grandchildren, Travis Crocker, Scott Glover, Joshua Moore, April Moore, Dylan Moore and Kaitlyn Moore; her great-grandchildren, Chris Glover and Ashley Glover; her great-great -grandchild, Alexander Kay; her sister, Barbara House of Tarboro, she is also survived by her fur baby, Charlie the dog; and many nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Pineview Cemetery with Chaplain Ricky Forkum officiating. Flowers are welcome.   1. This was my mama she was a sweet loving funny lady love to have a good time she was married to the love of her life for 65 years James Robert moore her Family love her dearly she will definitely be missed but she’s in a better place we love you mama R.I.P.

  2. Ms Moore was our neighbor when I was growing up and in high school. So sorry to hear of her passing. Prayers for her family. She will be forever watching over you all until you meet again.
