Born in Pitt County, NC on March 19, 1928, he was the son of the late Ralph Robert Peed, Sr. and Magnolia Whichard Peed. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Annie Russell Peed. Ralph leaves behind to cherish his memory, son, Ralph R. Peed, III and daughter, Elizabeth P. Fraser.
