Raymon Caudle

SPRING HOPE - Raymon Caudle, age 89, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021. Born in Blount County, AL on June 4, 1931, he was the son of the late Derow and Elizabeth Allison Caudle. His daughter Kathy was by his side when the Lord called him home. Raymon retired from the 82nd Airborne at Ft. Bragg as a Command Sergeant Major with 23 years of service in both the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army. He fought in the Korean War and two tours in the Vietnam War. After he retired, he earned a degree in Civil Engineering and worked for the North Carolina Department of Transportation for several years before retiring again “to go fishing!” Well done good and faithful servant! Enter into your final duty station and into the Everlasting Arms of Jesus. Salute! He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Caudle, daughters, Ramona Brown and Kathy Connelly (Richard); sons, Jerry Caudle and Kenneth Caudle (Tori Ligon); grandchildren, Gratia Brown Ashmore, Warren Brown, Allison Brown, Patrick Connelly, Nathan Connelly, Ansel Ligon, and Aspen Ligon; and four great grandchildren, Parker, Bennett, Rhys and Elijah.
