ROCKY MOUNT - Richard Tyree, age 66, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021. Born in Ft. Knox, KY on March 10, 1954, he was the son of the late Richard Samuel and Martha Durham Tyree. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Tyree. Richard was loving husband, father, brother and friend, and will be missed by all who loved him. Richard is survived by his wife of 10 years, Khristie Gold Tyree; his daughter, Heather Barber of Castalia; his son, Brooks Baker (Bailee) of Missouri; his grandchildren, Rhiannon and Sam Baker; his sister, Lisa Tyree (Bill) of Virginia; his Brothers, Phil Tyree of Virginia, and Tim Tyree and (Denise) of Jamestown, NC; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home.
