Our prayers and sympathy to Rose and her family. Dan was great son that lived faithfully with his mama til she left. May cherished memories of good times bring smile to your heart. In Christian love, Tom and Martha Lancaster Barnes

Wishing peace and comfort to Rose and family.
I’m truly sorry to hear of Dan’s passing. He and I were good friends coming up through the lower grades at West Edgecombe. And though he finished up his school days at NEW Academy he is in the hearts of the WEHS Class of 1974.
Dan and I were classmates at West Edgecombe. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
I was sorry to hear of Dan’s passing. He and I were good friends in grade school at West Edgecombe and although he finished his education at NEW, he will always be considered a part of the class of 1974 at WEHS. My condolences to Rose and the rest of the family.
Rose – I was so sorry to hear this. Please know that we are thinking about your and your family during this difficult time. Dan was such a kind soul and I remember those trains well, even thought I was probably only about 5 years old when we visited your home with my grandparents. Peace, strength, and prayers to all of you. David Cashwell
