ROCKY MOUNT – Robert Michael Cooper “Mike”, age 58, hauled his final load on Friday, September 22, 2023. Born in Nash County, NC on July 3, 1965, he was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin Cooper and Hazel Taylor Cooper. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Susan Huffman. Mike was a trucker. However; all of this changed when his grandkids came into the world. His grandkids were his life. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him, but his loving spirit will never be forgotten as he was everything to his family. 1. I’m so sorry I didn’t know that Robert had passed away. I’m deeply saddened by his passing. He was a good friend and coworker. I know he was a good husband, father and grandfather. He loved you all so much and I know you miss him. God called him home and he’s in the arms of Jesus. No more pain and his body is healed. Take comfort knowing you will be with him again in heaven.
Robert, my brother, I will miss you and will see you again.
