Roger Thomas Harper, age 81, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016. Born in Nash County, NC on January 24, 1935, he was the son of the late John Taylor and Martha Elizabeth Fisher Harper. A loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather, Roger leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Elizabeth Jane Reams Harper, and daughter, Dawn Harper Redman and Husband Greg. He is also survived by two granddaughters, Mallory and Taylor Redman. Roger is also survived by one sister, Shirley Harper Bunn, and numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends. The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Johnson Funeral Home Cremation Services. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home Cremation Services. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Nashville.
