Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. RIP Ma!!! You fought the fight and finished the race, now it is time for you to rest and be with Pop again. We miss you and we love you always. John, Beth, John, and family, I am very sorry for your loss. She was a fine lady and a great Mother-in-Law. It goes without saying she was a fine Wife and Mother too because she raised two fine children. I know she will be missed by all who had the privilege and honor to know her and share life with. We had some very good times for many years. Those memories are just as real today as they were when we made them like the first time I met her, I was invited to supper. Picking butterbeans at a nearby farm was a yearly thing but she said I did not have to help because I needed to stay there with her in air condition. (That was fine with me, I have always hated picking butterbeans.) She was a fine cook too, I miss those vegetable suppers she would have with the first squash, potatoes, onions, and green tomatoes. Everything was cut into circles, battered, and fried. While there are many, many, many, many more, these are just a few of them that I cherish with all of my heart.
