Shelia Joyce Reese

ROCKY MOUNT – Shelia Joyce Reese, age 72, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Born in Mecklenburg County, NC on October 17, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Franklin Reese and Ruth Christine Porter. Shelia was a very generous, funny, good-natured, and loving person. She was very close with her niece, Abigail. Shelia had many life-long friends who will miss her dearly. Shelia is survived by her sisters, Donna Tench of Rocky Mount and Ashlyn Lahbabi of Rocky Mount; her brother, Robert Dean Tench and wife, Dawn, of High Point; her nephew, Caleb Tench and wife, Kasey; her niece, Abigail Rodgers; her great-niece, Salem, and great-nephew, Jett.
