Nashville - Sonya Hollowell Anderson, age 58, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017. Born in Edgecombe County, NC on January 6, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Linwood Joy Hollowell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Randy Perry Anderson; and sister, Teresa Dennison. Sonya leaves behind to cherish her memory, three children, Krissie M. Whiteside, Randy L. Anderson and Danielle N. Anderson. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Walker A. Risley, Christian Butler, Greyson Anderson and Alyssa M. Whiteside; brothers, Michael and Ricky Hollowell; and mother, Christine Hollowell. Sonya loved horses and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a hardworking, caring and loving person. She was loved by all who met her. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM following the visitation. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery.
