Terry Lee Williams

ROCKY MOUNT - Terry Lee Williams, age 30, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020. Born in Edgecombe County, NC on May 12, 1990, he was the son of Christina Hope Williams Wilk. Terry is preceded in death by his Papa, Ellis Guy Williams, Jr, and his uncle, Chad Williams. Terry was born with a disability in his legs, but that did not slow him down. At a young age, he underwent many operations. Overcoming many obstacles, he learned to walk, run, and play like any other child. As he got older, he developed a work ethic that was unmatched by anyone his age. A skilled laborer, Terry loved to fix things and work with his hands. In his life, he became a traveler. He enjoyed hiking, camping, fishing, and anything outdoors. He loved everyone, and many would call him a people person. Never meeting a stranger, he would give you his last dollar and the shirt off his back. Terry will be missed by his family and friends. He was dearly loved, and will never be forgotten. In addition to his mother, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his grandmother, Judy Williams; step-father, Michael Wilk; sons, Elijah, Donovan, and Tyler Williams, all of Wilson; sisters, Gracie Wilk and Chelsea Weeks; brothers, Steven Kelly, Michael and Gabriel Wilk, and Scott and CJ Weeks; also numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
